Sometimes, what a room needs isn’t a permanent fixture or a large, cumbersome lamp. Portable lighting offers the flexibility and adaptability that permanent solutions can’t match, without giving up style or quality.
Cordless lamps offer convenience. You can place them where needed and move them accordingly, such as when natural daylight provides ample light or when you add additional furniture to a room.

Where can you use your portable lamp?
Cordless table lamps provide the perfect transition between indoor and outdoor lighting, and many can be used around the home and garden.
As a general rule, we recommend that you bring your portable lamp back inside after enjoying wonderful illumination on the balcony or terrace. However, if you’re looking for a portable lamp that is approved for use outside, make sure to check it’s IP44 certified, as this means it can withstand dew or more humid weather conditions.
Charging your portable lamp
All Louis Poulsen portable lamps have rechargeable batteries, which can either be plugged in to mains electricity using the USB cable that is included in the packet. Some of them, also offer the QI-charging option, which allows you to fully recharge your portable lamp so it’s ready to use.
